Hey there Elton Home Team Eastside Triathlete!
Thank you for signing up! We are in the final stages of race prep and are very excited for Saturday. Have you seen Saturday's forecast? It's perfect! Below you will find some important information to help you prepare for your race. It's a lot of details...hang in there.
IMPORTANT PACKET PICKUP STUFF: ALL athletes are required to show photo ID. NO ID, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS Every single participant must have a photo ID, this includes all relay participants. Youth athletes without an ID must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a photo ID. Great news- pre-registered athletes (that is you!), do not need to show USAT card or receipt due to our registration system process. Only Photo ID is needed at pick up.
Athletes can only pick up their own packets. That's the breaks...sorry. Regarding relays, all relay members must be present to receive the packet, or we will split up the relay packet for each participant.
Packet Pick Up (two options):
Friday, June 26 4:30-6:30 PM at Lake Sammamish near transition at Sunset Beach. LOOK FOR THE BLACK PROFILE DESIGN TENTS.
Saturday, June 27 5:00- 6:15 AM Packet Pick up at Lake Sammamish near transition at Sunset Beach (have your photo ID out and ready to speed this up).
Race Check In (Friday & Saturday): There's is a new check-inprocess at Raise the Bar and it's Simple in execution and Intent. When you arrive at packet pickup you'll be Checked In by a volunteer with our electronic Check In App. If you check in, you are telling us that you will be at the start and we will assume you enter the water and so on... If you check in and don't cross the finish line, we will panic with worry and call your Emergency Contact person!! If you aren't intending to start, we still welcome you to pick up your shirt and enjoy the mojo of the race, but we don't want to electronically check you in. So please - if you're not planning to race - TELL US! No Judgment here!
Race Packets: Each packet will include a helmet number, a bike frame number, a run number, race chip and swim cap. Directions are on the front of each packet for placement. If you want to use your own chip strap, please turn our strap in at packet pick up (lost straps are $5). Safety pins are not in packets but will be available at packet pick up and from body markers and transition volunteers.
Parking: You will need a Discover Pass to park at Lake Sammamish State Park. To purchase one before race day, follow this link. Main Gate to park opens at 5 AM.
